Art....I am still looking for someone to engage in a project about evolution and religion. Is that it? Refresh my memory. This does take time. People are always interested, and their plates are always full!

One possible project could include having this same discussion with a science class in another part of the world. Perhaps the Middle EAst. To see how this topic is approached in another culture. In our culture, evolution is being cast against creationism. Back in the days when people read by gas lights, we had a huge trial about this that left an impression that made its way up to the door of the 21st Century that teaching evolution was OK in our US schools. As we move forward into this new century, that seems threatened. My own two cents, but a discussion could be interesting. What do you think?

Hello Art! Welcome to Global Visits. Thanks for joining. Art, do you think chemists with their students (that is your field, right? I am pulling my on my memory!) could do a project with this medium?

A 'Wired' Mission

Go anywhere in the world, and we are 'wired' together by advancing technology. But we have yet to figure out how to 'wire' peace. Our mission is to use this technology to leap over vast cultural and geographical divides, linking students and teachers together, to talk with each other, laugh together, collaborate in a project, share pictures of our families, our favorite songs.....to be friends.

For several years, Global Visits was a pioneer using modern communications technology to linking people together from diverse cultures. We called our efforts 'non traditional' student exchanges.

Now, we join the world of 'social networking' with a serious purpose: peace and understanding.
