Hi liz, This is Samuel from Kenya. I am interested in being your friend and maintaining contact with you. I am currently a high school teacher and a Project Manager of a street children program in my home town, Eldoret, Kenya. I am planning to do an MBA In Kelley School of Business so having a friend in Indi would be so great. Regards. Samuel

You were a student in Peg Williams Anthropology class last semester. There is a new group formed called the Afghanistan Study Group. You will find the group on the main page. There are four categories of discussion: culture, education, politics and foreign policy. You may want to join the group and participate. Let me know if you would like to join and have problems signing in: I will send you a personal invite to join the group. The discussions should be very interesting! A 'Wired' Mission

Go anywhere in the world, and we are 'wired' together by advancing technology. But we have yet to figure out how to 'wire' peace. Our mission is to use this technology to leap over vast cultural and geographical divides, linking students and teachers together, to talk with each other, laugh together, collaborate in a project, share pictures of our families, our favorite songs.....to be friends.

For several years, Global Visits was a pioneer using modern communications technology to linking people together from diverse cultures. We called our efforts 'non traditional' student exchanges.

Now, we join the world of 'social networking' with a serious purpose: peace and understanding.
